Description/notes
The mission is to work with the populations of Mali and neighbouring countries of the West African sub-region, in order to improve their standard of living through better environmental management, based on the principle of good governance.
They intend to do this by promoting the sustainable management of renewable natural resources and supporting the emergence of a more diversified and secure rural economy. For example one of Sahel Eco's projects involve strengthening the resilience of communities on the Mali-Burkina border for conflict prevention and better management of natural resources.
